Maybe Kaz's strongest work to date, definitely his most ambitious. Features from indie music superstars like R. Stevie Moore, Sonny Smith, and Summer Twins make this feel like a big deal, but this is still Boys Age, which means it's uniquely Kaz and uniquely committed to its theme. This one sounds like the soundtrack to a cult drug-hazed sci-fi pink film. It's astounding that he's made so many quality albums that are all so distinct from each other.

The dark whimsical sounds on this album are just amazing. It really grew on me. Calm Time is just the perfect opener with its deep and unfocused vocals against the guitar.
